Lisa Jardine-Wright: Why on Earth Would You Want To Do That?
Part of Physics Fest
From broccoli to bicycles, from rainbows to motorways, physics is part of everyday life and everyone can do physics. Physics is as rewarding as playing a musical instrument, says Lisa Jardine-Wright, leading physicist and astronomy expert.
Hear what she has to say in this free presentation, brought to the Norwich Science Festival by the Institute of Physics and forming part of the Physics Fest day.
Let Lisa help you see physics differently; her research has focused on the formation of spiral galaxies, like the Milky Way, from the Big Bang to the present day.
She was also the astronomy consultant for the redevelopment of the galleries and planetarium at the Royal Observatory Museum in Greenwich.
