Event description

Description

The Gloucestershire Independents' Group aims to provide a forum for consultants working independently or who are planning to, delivering HR and related services. The group is open to both CIPD members and others who are interested in the topics and meeting others working independently.

Are you really listening, or merely waiting to interrupt? Communication involves transmitting and receiving information however, the latter is often neglected, which can result in confusion, conflict, and missed opportunities.

Whether you work in the business to business, or business to consumer sector, the reality is, it’s all people to people and these basic human interactions are fundamental to your success.

Jacky Leonard will illustrate how developing the important and underrated skill of listening can have a massive impact on your ability to respond, influence and build productive relationships with your internal and external customers.
