Listening to the song of the heart
This retreat will give space to discover afresh the life-giving Spirit within the depth of our being. We live much of our lives on the surface, meeting the expectations others have of us or we have of ourselves. But God sees the heart: we are known at the level of our deepest desires and longings. It is in the heart that the Spirit of God stirs, drawing us into freedom and fruitfulness.
We are often too busy or too driven to hear this song of the heart. This retreat will provide the space and encouragement to hear and respond to the invitation of God’s Spirit in your spirit.
Christopher Chapman is an experienced spiritual director and retreat leader. He is a guest director at St. Beuno’s Jesuit Spirituality Centre and an associate tutor at St. Augustine’s College of Theology.
