About this event

Spirituality • Unaffiliated

This two-hour experiential workshop explores the art of listening to trees as wise beings. Through guided practices, reflective writing, and group dialogue, we will open ourselves to the many ways trees “speak” - through science, story, and the imaginal. Together, we will explore how trees can become our teachers and companions, as we deepen our connection with the more-than-human world.

As well as personal connection, the workshop will focus on practical applications for ecotherapy practice. We will consider how listening to trees can support clients in cultivating belonging, imagination, and resilience. Whether working with clients outside, or you are working with a tree outside your window or the memory of a childhood tree, you’ll leave with creative tools and insights to bring into your ecotherapy journey.
