Listen Up: Conference on young people’s mental health needs & how to meet them

October 10th 2019

4pm – 7pm

Harrow Arts Centre

About HeadsUp:

HeadsUp is a unique specialist young people’s mental health service that provides free and confidential support to people aged 13-25 in Harrow. We support young people to improve their mental health, resilience and to build their self-esteem. HeadsUp is delivered in partnership by: Mind in Harrow, the Mosaic LGBT Youth Centre, Paiwand, The Wish Centre and the Centre for ADHD and Autism Support.

Event Overview:

ListenUp is an exciting and interactive conference celebrating the first year of the HeadsUp Project. It is an opportunity to share how to better support young people’s mental health needs, learning from the expertise of young people themselves. This conference has been produced in collaboration with young people with lived experience of mental health difficulties who have chosen the theme ListenUp as a response to feeling like their voices haven’t been heard.

We will be bringing together young people, services and the community to discuss and workshop how best we can support young peoples’ mental health needs.
