About this Event

Welcome to your local LitdriveCPD event, hosted by your Regional Advocate in Suffolk, Stuart Pryke.This event will explore William Shakespeare's 'Macbeth' through a range of sessions :

Stuart Pryke (@SPryke2) examines Shakespeare's allusions to astronomy and use of light and darkness in 'Macbeth'.

Fiona Ritson (@alwayslearnweb) discusses the question, 'Is 'Macbeth' a statement of evil?'

Ali Legg (@MrsLeggEnglish) leads a session on one of the more challenging scenes to teach, titled 'Macbeth and Kingship: Act 4, Scene 3'.

Amy Staniforth (@teachals) looks at 'Macbeth' through a feminist lens with an exciting seminar titled '"It is the cry of women, my good lord": Feminism and Macbeth'
