As we romp towards October, Literary Death Match returns to Chicago for a night at Subterranean that aims to be as magical as the Chicago Cubs 2016 season. Words! Comedy! Ridiculousness! Don't miss a second of it.
What is Literary Death Match? Called “as engaging as the best concerts, plays and stand-up comedy sets I've ever seen, all rolled into one” (Nashville Scene), LDM features four writers who read their own work for seven minutes or less, and are then judged by three all-star judges. Two finalists are chosen to compete in the Literary Death Match finale, a vaguely-literary game to decide the ultimate winner.
