Literary Natives will launch monthly events for writers of colour to discuss issues relating to writing, books, and the road to becoming a published author.

The day will include:

  • An interactive panel discussion with debut authors. We will be joined by Victoria Princewill, the author of In The Palace of Flowers, a newly acquired historical novel by Cassava Republic. Also on the panel is Muhammad Khan, the author of the debut YA novel I Am Thunder, soon to be published by Macmillan and featured on Apple iBook's Hot List for 2018. Our third panelist is Sabeena Akhtar, the editor of a ground-breaking collection of essays entitled Cut From the Same Cloth by British Muslim women. And finally, Hanna Ali will join the panel to discuss her newly published short story collection The Story of Us, available via this link: https://marketfiftyfour.com/products/the-story-of-us-e-book-1 .
