What will this course cover?
This course will cover an Introduction to how the Romanticism movement from around 1790 to 1850 shaped literature. This movement focusses on emotion, isolation and appreciation for nature in a growing industrial world.
What will I get out of this course?
You will gain an introductory understanding to the Romanticism movement in literature, alongside some of the authors/poets who helped shaped this genre. Join Stephen Smith and an engaging class discussion in this 2 hour introductory course.
What level is the course and do I need any particular skills or experience?
This is an entry level course, so no particular skills or experience are needed. Just an interest in literature and an open mind.
What do I need to bring with me?
You do not need to bring any equipment, but a pen and notepad may be useful to jot down your thoughts.
