Are you a running enthusiast looking for a challenge? Would you like to raise money for children with disabilities and life-limiting? Then lace-up your running shoes and get ready to take on this fast, flat half-marathon on Sunday 12th October 2025, a fantastic course to achieve your personal best.

Frequently asked questions

What is the minimum age to enter?

Great Eastern Run participants will need to be 17 years of age on race day.

Can I bring my dog or running buggy?

Dogs, baby joggers, nordic poles and unauthorised bicycles are not permitted on the course. This race is permitted and insured UK Athletics and run in accordance with their rules.

Will there be pacers at the event?

A team of pacers are available on the day to help you achieve your desired time, and hopefully your new PB! Please see the main Great Eastern Run website for more details.

Can I wear headphones?

In ear headphones are banned, but UKA approved bone conducting headphones are acceptable. Anyone seen to be wearing in ear headphones will be disqualified as per UKA rules
