Q. What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

The best way of getting to the club is by car. There is plenty of parking on site. Alternatively, the nearest train station is Shepperton. We would recommend you take a taxi/bicycle from the station to the club. Otherwise, it is a healthy 35-minute walk.

Q. What should I wear for a sailing taster?

Wear suitable warm clothing, waterproof trousers and top, and trainers. Should you have a wetsuit and neoprene boots then that would also be an option though certainly not essential. Buoyancy aids must be worn whilst near and on the water. Bring a life jacket/buoyancy aid if you have one.

What should I wear for a windsurfing taster?

Bring a wetsuit, plus neoprene boots if you have them. The club does not provide wetsuits. Buoyancy aids must be worn whilst near and on the water. We will provide you with one if you don't have your own. There are hot showers so bring a towel and change of clothing.
