Following the sell-out success of last year's series, LIVE AT THE BARRACKS returns with a new season of intimate concerts spotlighting Jersey’s most exciting musical talent. This season we are kindly sponsored by Oakglen Wealth. The series is a selection of hand-picked musicians performing in an intimate and historic setting with acoustic, stripped-back and emotive music. Between songs, these emerging and locally-loved musicians will share snippets of their creative process and inspirations.
Emily Faye is a singer-songwriter whose music blends pop and country influences, characterised by catchy hooks and storytelling. Rolling Stone magazine recognised her as "One To Watch," and BBC Radio 2 has also featured her work. Emily has a first-class honours degree in Songwriting and is the co-founder of "Write Like A Girl", a movement which supports women in music.
At LIVE AT THE BARRACKS Emily steps fully into the spotlight, presenting a full set of her original material in an intimate, atmospheric setting. Audiences will experience Emily’s songwriting as it’s meant to be heard—raw, personal, and up close.
We are the last stop on the number 9 bus route and there is free public carparking at the Seaside Cafe. We are an accessibility-friendly venue (please notify us for any special requirements). BYOB welcome.
