Peta and Felicity will cook a delicious recipe from the book, Mushroom and Hazelnut Pithivier and would love you to cookalong with them.

The Recipe - Mushroom and Hazelnut Pithivier

If you’re taking part in the LIVE Cookalong, you’ll need to get prepared. So of course, get any ingredients you need in advance.

Ingredients.

Serves 4

• 7g (¼oz) dried porcini mushrooms
• 30g (1oz) hazelnuts
• 2tbsp vegetable oil
• 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
• 180g (6oz) chestnut mushrooms, roughly chopped
• 2tsp light soy sauce
• 15g (½oz) breadcrumbs
• 2 banana shallots, finely chopped
• Salt and freshly ground black pepper
• A good bunch of flat-leaf parsley, leaves picked and finely chopped
• 300g (10½oz) all-butter puff pastry
• 1 large egg, beaten with a splash of milk
• Roast potatoes and green beans, to serve (optional)

Utensils/equipment you will also need to hand include: food processor, rolling pin, pastry brush, palette knife, baking sheet and parchment.
