Introduction: Neutral Wireless are pleased to present our 2-day ‘Live Events and Production with Private 5G' short course. With 5+ years of experience building private 5G networks supporting the live broadcast and production of sports, civic, and other events (including from way back in 2022!), Neutral Wireless will showcase why Private 5G will be disruptive to the industry in the very near term.

Pragmatic, Hands-On, and End to End: Our course will review the design and operation of Private 5G solutions – showing how to acquire, deploy, and operate these wireless networks. From spectrum licensing to the connection of handset and wireless encoders, we’ll make the most of the two-day duration to unpack how portable or fixed-location solutions can bring 10 or more HD cameras to fan-packed broadcast venues. Embracing the IP-focused future of broadcast workflows, we’ll show how tally, talkback, camera control, and return video functionality can be achieved over robust, low-latency wireless networks.

Case Study Presentations: A key part of the course will be presenting case studies of private networks designed and deployed by Neutral Wireless and partners, including from:

(i) the King's Coronation in London

(ii) live top tier sports (football, skiing, cycling, gymnastics, sailing, and much more)

(iii) the Paris 2024 stadia, opening ceremony, and at sea

(iv) live on non-3GPP shared spectrum (Las Vegas, at NAB)

(v) A sneak preview of live flying private 5G networks, demonstrated in Sept 2025 in France.
