Live From the British Library: The Thursday Murder Club

Join us at Exeter Library for this live streamed event from the British Library - a special evening celebrating The Thursday Murder Club from page to screen. Step into the world of Richard Osman’s beloved, bestselling novel, which follows four irrepressible retirees whose casual sleuthing takes a thrilling turn when they find themselves with a real whodunit on their hands. Discover how this much-loved tale has been brought to life in the forthcoming film adaptation, releasing globally on Netflix on Thursday, 28th August.

As one of our most checked out books of all time, Exeter Library are hugely excited to be streaming this free event. There will be some time to chat after the stream, and have a drink!

This event will take place in the Rougemont Room at Exeter Library. Doors at 6.30pm. The stream will start at 7pm and last for up to 75mins without a break. There will be a bar with refreshments, open until 8.45pm, for a chilled space after the talk. We'll even feature a display of similar cosy crime novels, and who knows - you might find your next favourite title.
