This interactive workshop is designed for interpreters who want to practice live interpreting scenarios from Police, Magistrates' and Crown Court settings. You'll take part in simulated legal interactions, including hearings, plea procedures, sentencing remarks, and cross-examinations — all based on real court dialogue.
You’ll interpret live in small groups, observe others, receive constructive feedback, and strengthen your confidence and technique in a safe, supportive environment.

- Simulated interpreting tasks reflecting actual courtroom language
- Exposure to typical scenarios: first appearances, bail hearings, sentencing, trials
- Practice with legal register, turn-taking, and challenging phrasing
