About this event

The Authentic Troubadour & Jazz Magpie

We are delighted to welcome Viennese saxophonist Guido Spannocchi to Twickenham Jazz Club.

Based in London, Guido is known for his lyrical tone, adventurous improvisations and the personal, communicative nature of his playing. Trained at the Conservatoire in Vienna and the Royal Academy of Music, he has established himself as a distinctive voice on the European jazz scene, leading his own ensembles and collaborating widely across genres.

"Entirely unique" Corey Mwamba on BBC Radio 3 Freeness

"A wonderful musician, such great jazz." Kylie Minogue

Guido’s performances are as engaging as they are musical. With his natural charm, humour and gift for storytelling, he introduces each piece with ease, creating an immediate rapport with the audience. His music draws on an eclectic mix of Classical music, European modern jazz, traditional folk, even Brazilian and Afro-Caribbean influences. Guido is simply a Jazz Troubadour, very brilliant, and always infused with energy and a strong sense of narrative.

A captivating performer and true jazz troubadour, Guido’s concerts at Ronnie Scott’s sold out instantly. He tours extensively throughout the UK and Europe, taking audiences with him on a shared musical journey. We are honoured to share that journey with him here at Twickenham Jazz Club, alongside his esteemed and exquisite rhythm section.

This is another unique, not to be missed concert on Patchworks stage.

We hope that you can join us.
