Working as a musician an actor and a dancer has made Rollo the consummate Frontman, his ability to engage with and enthuse his audiences has won him admirers across Europe.
Winner of the 2016 award for Blues Innovation
Julian has written, performed and recorded with many renowned artists such as Beverley Knight, Jocelyn Brown, The Stylistics, SEAL, Kim Weston, Pee Wee Ellis and Fred Wesley and Geno Washington.
Julian has his own band called 24 PESOS who specialize in raw and rootsy Blues mixed with the sound of deep fried southern Soul Funk, blending old skool energy and down home grooves reminiscent of the Meters, Howling Wolf and Ray Charles plus the funk of Freddie King, Sean Costello and James Brown while mixing in a little Fun Lovin Criminals and The Roots.
Will Johns is recognised as one of the most distinctive and exciting performers on the British Blues scene today. His guitar playing is both modern and cutting edge but also steeped in the blues history passed from generation to generation. Hardly surprising as Will has direct heritage to a golden age of music. As well as being a spellbinding live act, Will is a hugely respected songwriter, having thrice been nominated for ‘Best Original Blues Song’ by the British Blues Awards in 3 consecutive years.
Born in London, Will’s parents are the legendary L.A. record producer/ engineer Andy Johns and actress/ model Paula Boyd. From the age of 15 Will taught himself guitar but received huge encouragement from his world renowned uncle, Eric Clapton.
