Live Poetry Performance at the Castle
Event Information
Description
The Corbenic Touring Poetry Path showcases the words of Scotland’s contemporary poets carved into stone and resin, etched into glass and burned into striking wooden sculptures. Through July the path is installed at The Black Watch Castle and Museum. On Saturday 29th July, join us in the Castle grounds for an evening of powerful and entertaining live poetry performance with well-known Scottish poets Jon Plunkett, Tim Turnbull and Jim Mackintosh. These poets will share their inspiring words and emotive war poetry discovered within The Black Watch Museum archive.
A selection of wines, beers and spirits will be available to purchase throughout the evening.
