Liverpool Cathedral Saturday Choral Evensong: January
Event Information
About this Event
Our service is led by our choir and clergy. This gives you the opportunity to listen to some beautifully sung choral music; relax; pray to God and reflect what your needs are at this time.
Please note: We may need to change this service to Said Evening Prayer at short notice. We know you may be disappointed at not being able to listen to our choir but keeping you and our choristers safe is our priority. Thank you for your understanding.
All are welcome.
Please book your tickets before midday on the proceeding Friday. We are otherwise unable to safely welcome you.
Due to social distancing we are not able to seat parties larger than 6 together. We apologise for the inconvenience, but if you want to book more than 6 tickets you must split your party into two groups.
We are asking everyone to please wear a face covering at this time.

Support Us
- Like many other organisations in the city and beyond, we face an uncertain future. Liverpool Cathedral has lost nearly all of its income over recent months, so your donations are especially needed and welcome to help keep entry to Liverpool Cathedral free to visitors. It will help preserve your heritage for generations to come.
- You can donate when you book your ticket or join us for First Eucharist of Christmas with cash or on our portable contactless consoles.
- Find out more about how you can support us on our Donation website pages.
- Did you know, when you buy something from our Cathedral Shop, you’ll be supporting us too?
Thank you for your generosity.
Online
So while you’re not able to join us in person to worship at Liverpool Cathedral, we’ve introduced Prayer for Liverpool. It’s a way for us to come together as a church community virtually.
You’ll be able to find prayers, view the worship services we’ve filmed or find inspiration from our Education Team on how children can engage with us.
