Liverpool Synth Meet - June 2022

This is a meet for people interested in Modular and Standalone synths. There will be a of synths from my own collection that you can come and play with, or you are more than welcome to bring along one of your own.

DoES Liverpool (https://doesliverpool.com) have kindly offered me use of their Event Room again. This will be a public event, with free access for anyone (The space has been deliberately set up with an eye to accessibility and inclusion, so wheelchair access is a given).

It is a relatively small space, good for 8-10 tables, but we may squeeze in a few more people if there is a lot of interest.

We are also going to observe a number of safe practices for this meet to be safe. So we can only have a maximum of 10 people in the room at a time.

I plan to bring a few of my toys along on the day, so there will definitely be some synths to play with if you just want to come visit for the day. You are also more than welcome to bring some of your own gear along, just reply to this message and I’ll reserve a space for you.

In the space, there is a small PA, but I would prefer people to bring headphones if possible, so that it doesn’t get too noisy.

There is parking on-street outside DoES which is pay and display but quite expensive, which is OK for unloading. There are long stay car parks within a few minutes walk which are much more reasonable at £4.20 per day. DoES Liverpool is also about a 10 minute walk from Lime Street Station
