About this Event

What will it take to fix social care?

Finding a solution to the growing adult social care crisis in England is increasingly recognised as a top priority for the next government.

You can now register to watch the livestream of this seminar on Thursday 21 November, at which the options for reforming the adult social care system will be set out by leading social care and economic experts:

  • Sir Andrew Dilnot, who led the 2011 Commission on Funding of Care and Support
  • Anita Charlesworth, Director of Research and Economics at the Health Foundation
  • Paul Johnson, Director of the Institute for Fiscal Studies

This event, organised in partnership with the Institute for Fiscal Studies (IFS), will outline both the policy and funding priorities for adult social care as well as the wider context which has led to inaction on this issue thus far.

Registering for this livestream will mean you will be the first to hear about any event updates, and will receive instructions on how to join direct to your inbox. The livestream will be broadcast on both Twitter and YouTube, however you do not need to be registered on these platforms to join.
