Live@TheLibrary: The Name of the Dame

Live@TheLibrary: The Name of the Dame

By Oldham Libraries

Overview

You'll not experience growth or learn anything about the world or yourself. That's the Loose Cannons guarantee!

Dames, detectives, stylish hats, “car chases”… this parody of the film noir genre has got a gag rate that fires faster than a Tommy-gun and is marginally less painful. If you like Airplane, the oeuvre of Mel Brooks, dicey puns and sight gags, this show is probably for you.

Written by author and actor Adam Perrott and comic and improviser, Kate McCabe, this hour long , gut-busting play is now touring the Uk after an enthusiastically received run at The Edinburgh Fringe 2023.
