Event description

Description

Frank will introduce his “Five Invitations” and discuss how an awareness of death can be a valuable companion on the road to living well, forging a rich and meaningful life, and letting go of regret
This program is an invitation to explore death as something inextricably connected with living life today, and living it to the fullest. Together, we will illuminate what matters most and be reminded not to squander this life.
In this highly experiential program you will learn:
  • Life lessons from ordinary people who found the resources to meet death in extraordinary ways
  • How the study of death can help us identify and use these resources to navigate inner transformation.
  • Silent meditation and inquiry practices to face our fears and live a more whole-hearted life.
  • Mindful and compassionate approaches to end of life care
The program includes experiential exercises and pragmatic tools, as well as Frank’s inspiring stories from sitting bedside with more than 1,000 dying people over the past 30 years. This interactive and inspiring day will be organized around the development of self-awareness, compassion and skillful action.
