As part of the 2025 National Sporting Heritage Day celebrations and our work with the DCMS as a living heritage Community Hub, we're offering a number of drop in sessions with a focus on living sporting heritage.
These are informal opportunities to come along, share information about the living heritage you work with, learn about other heritage, and learn about how we can help.
They are aimed specifically at anyone who works with collections, memorabilia, communities, or otherwise, connected to the living heritage of sport. This could be, for example, oral histories and stories, songs, folklore, traditions or crafts.
We're aiming to support all of this heritage to be removed from risk, protected, and celebrated. And, where relevant, for it to be recognised as part of the UNESCO Intangible Heritage Inventory.
You can stay for the whole session, or drop in for a short time. Just book your place and join when works for you.
