Event description
Young People at Element Society share migrant heritage stories in an exhibition of audio recordings & zines from the Living History project

About this Event

Displaced Migrants: Living History

Join us for a community sharing of the work local Young People have been doing, putting their oral history skills into practice, as they have interviewed and curated the heritage stories of local migrants in Sheffield, through audio recordings and zine making.

Tonight is an opportunity to bring together everyone who has been involved and celebrate the stories and living histories of the participants.

At 6:30pm there will be a short formal sharing and presentation. Followed by a community evening meal. There will be lots of opportunities to speak with the participants, listen to the audio's and start conversations!

Please RSVP to Uzma at uzma.k@elementsociety.co.uk or on 0114 299 9210.

Please let us know about any dietary/accessibility requirements.

Please be aware, we currently do not have a working lift in the building and you will need to come up to the 1st Floor (roughly 50 steps) via the stairs.

We look forwards to welcoming you!
