Event description
Come and find out more about Living Hours - The campaign to tackle work insecurity!

About this Event

The campaign for a real Living Wage has ensured hundreds of thousands of workers are earning a wage they can live on, not just the government minimum. But millions of low paid workers are also struggling to get the hours they need to make ends meet. That’s why the Living Wage Foundation has developed a new standard of what good looks like for those employers that can offer ‘Living Hours’ alongside a real Living Wage.

We are delighted to invite the Living Wage Foundation to Manchester for a special workshop on the Living Hours campaign and ways communities in Greater Manchester can get involved in the next phase of the campaign.

The workshop will take place at the Mechanics Institute from 14.00 - 16.00 and is open to GM Living Wage campaigners, businesses, employers and others involved in the Living Wage movement in Greater Manchester.

If there are any further questions please contact the GM Citizens Community Organiser at furqan.naeem@citizensuk.org
