This is a ‘one-stop shop’ online event to introduce Living in Love and Faith (LLF), and to help people work out how their benefice or parish might best engage with it and takes place on Saturday 10th July 2021.

The day will be relevant for clergy and others with leadership roles in churches in the diocese. It will also be of interest to people keen to understand more of the background and approach of LLF.

We hope that most benefices and parishes (that haven’t yet had a chance to engage with LLF) will send at least one or two people, who can then help your benefice consider how best to engage with LLF.

The event consists of two parts taking place over the morning and afternoon of Saturday 10th July:

Main session in the morning: 10am – 12:30pm - Overview, Taster and Practicalities relevant to all those described above

an overview of what LLF is all about
a taster of the materials, including a couple of sections of the course videos
hearing from some people who have already done the course: why they did it, and how it went
thinking through practical considerations – what way of engaging might work best in your context

Optional afternoon follow-on for those who may lead LLF Course discussions:

1:30pm – 3:30pm - Group Leaders’ Briefing

Because the subject matter is personal and sensitive, we strongly encourage this extra facilitation skills preparation for those who will, or might, lead LLF discussions.
