Event description
Look in some depth at the Living in Love and Faith materials to think about how we can use them in our local contexts.

About this event

Facilitated by Eeva John, the Archbishop of Canterbury’s Enabling Officer for Living in Love and Faith, we look forward to sharing more about how to facilitate conversations within our own parishes on matters that many find difficult to talk about.

It will have more depth and content than the half day session, and lead you well on your way in starting your Living in Love and Faith journey as a parish or deanery. If you are interested, but are unable to commit to a full day you can book on the half day on 16th June instead.

The aims of the taster day are:

  • To be clear about the purpose of LLF
  • To know what resources are available.
  • To have experience engaging with sample elements of the LLF Course
  • To have begun to think about how to engage with LLF in your own context.
  • To have your questions answered

Topics for discussion include.

  • What does it mean to learn together as followers of Jesus Christ?
  • How does our identity in Christ relate to sex and gender?
  • What kinds of relationships does God call us to?
  • Where do our bodies and sex fit into all of this?
  • Next steps: How might we use the LLF resources in our context?
