Event description
An overview of ‘Living in Love and Faith’ to discover more about the materials and think about how to use them in our local context.

About this event

Facilitated by Eeva John, the Archbishop of Canterbury’s Enabling Officer for Living in Love and Faith, we look forward to sharing more about how to facilitate conversations within our own parishes on matters that many find difficult to talk about. This session will not be as detailed as the full day, but should be enough to get you started. If you would prefer more depth, you can book on the full day on 14th June instead.

The aims of the half day are:

  • To be clear about the purpose of LLF
  • To know what resources are available.
  • To have experience engaging with sample elements of the LLF Course
  • To have begun to think about how to engage with LLF in your own context.
  • To have your questions answered

Topics for discussion include.

  • What does it mean to learn together as followers of Jesus Christ?
  • How does our identity in Christ relate to sex and gender?
  • What kinds of relationships does God call us to?
  • Next steps: How might we use the LLF resources in our context?
