The University of Strathclyde and the Digital Health and Care Innovation Centre have being using Living Lab approaches with huge success and lot's of learning about what methods and approaches work for different projects and different communities.

At this event we will share our Living Lab methodology and give some examples of recent and live projects where industry. Academic, citizens, and health and care partners have come together (face to face or virtually) to co create digital products and services for transforming health and care here in Scotland and internationally.

Learn how we work - and find out how our co creation spaces, equipment, methods and expertise can help your company or project to co create in meaningful, engaging and inclusive ways to produce solutions that people care about, our health systems will adopt, and that can improve the way we deliver care.

ABOUT THE ORGANISERS

StrathLAB is a Living Lab ecosystem hosted by the University of Strathclyde. We provide an open and accessible co-creation and innovation space for companies, the public, researchers and social innovation partners to design, develop, and test products and services for the health and wellness sector. As well as our co creation lab we offer a suite of services including access to our network of co creation and health tec experts, a range of simulation and testing equipment, and services for showcasing your products and services to the public.

Digital Health and Care Innovation Centre (hosted at University of Strathclyde) have a Rural Centre of Excellence (UK Government funded) that is delivering five active Living Labs located in the North of Scotland, the Moray region. DHI will discuss how their living labs operate and bring to life the industry innovations that are being tested with citizens, patients and H&C practitioners, with feedback loops that are influencing the development cycles to create ideas into real solutions.
