Frequently asked questions
The facilitator for these sessions is Julie. She is a down-to-earth facilitator who embodies compassion and resilience. With a Master’s in Mental Health, Wellbeing, and Resilience PGCE in Lifelong Learning , she has spent over 30 years positively impacting youth and community work.
The answer to this is yes and no. We'd like you to have your camera on at some points in the sessions, however, we understand that some people struggle with being on camera and with eye contact. Therefore do not insist that it is on at all points.
If you have children that are under the age of 2 then we accept that they can be on the calls with you, we just ask that you keep them off camera for their own safeguarding and wellbeing. However, we do find that you can be distracted and it is more beneficial if you can find childcare.
We understand that life happens and you may not make all sessions. We ask at the beginning of the course that you try to keep these times free for your own benefit, but in the event of sickness or unforeseen circumstances we can support you to catch up with the mnaterial we have covered.
Previous participants have found that they get the most out of these sessions by participating and sharing their own experiences. However, the level you share is completely up to you. We do set ground rules in the sessions for confidentiality.
We have a short and engaging 1-hour course is designed to help you reflect on your own wellbeing, learn practical tools, and understand how to support yourself and others which you can complete if you so wish. ? https://rsph.gomocentral.com/content/8e9700cb5e656deafcdc84fe2a9a22bbb8db/web
