Description

Living nonviolently towards the earth: Sowing seeds for spring

Come and explore practical nonviolence and help co-create a Peace Garden:
1-5pm Sunday 1 October, Bridgend Farmhouse, 41 Old Dalkeith Road, Edinburgh EH16 4TD

Invite friends to book a place via https://bridgend1oct.eventbrite.co.uk

Live simply so others may simply live” We welcome all ages, abilities & backgrounds. Family and dog friendly!

It’s autumn and as we approach the Celtic New Year of Samhuin, we start to plan for the year to come, and begin preparing the garden to flourish in spring. We will sow seeds in our minds as we learn how we can easily make change in our day-to-day lives, as well as sowing seeds outside as we co-create a Peace Garden.

Confirmed activities so far in new workshops at Bridgend:

Short film with discussion led by Permaculture Classroom

Vegan cooking workshop making soup led by Beetroot Cafe

Soup & stories led by Owen Pilgrim from Fife

Continuous workshop outside all afternoon:

Together we will create a Peace Pole out of wood facilitated by Owen Pilgrim and start planning a Peace Garden as a permanent feature at Bridgend Farmhouse.

Bring picnic lunch if you like at 1pm - we'll share hearty bowls of soup mid afternoon.
