Description

‘Living Realistically’ - the 2nd Realistic Medicine Conference in Tayside

Following the success of the first Tayside Conference in 2019 the Realistic Medicine Steering Group are pleased to host our second Conference on Friday the 29th of May at the Dalhousie building, University of Dundee. We hope the content will inspire new approaches to familiar and challenging issues by encouraging learning and innovation within health, social care and academia.

The Deputy Chief Medical Officer, Dr Gregor Smith will provide an update on Realistic Medicine from a National perspective and to give an overview of the latest national report.

Short presentations will take place in the morning (Programme to follow)

Afternoon workshops will be structured around four key themes:

  • Sustainable Healthcare
  • Reaching ‘hard to reach’ communities
  • Joy and wellbeing at work
  • Public involvement and partnerships

The Conference is open to a wide audience, including all clinical professions, patients, carers, social care staff, voluntary organisations, academics and students.
