Drop in any time 2-4pm every Wednesday for hot drinks, board games, puzzles and chat, and occasional speakers/other activities - upcoming schedule as follows:

Wed 15th May - Marie Corelli Centennial Talk by Jann Tracy, 2pm start

A talk to celebrate the Centenary of Marie Corelli's death, plus an opportunity to see some related rarely-seen books and ephemera from Warwickshire Libraries' collection.

Wed 12 June - Heart of England Forest Talk for Great Big Green Week, 2pm

Rosalind Anscombe (Community Partnerships Officer) will be giving a talk on the Heart of England Forest, a local environmental charity, with a mission to help reverse centuries of woodland decline by creating and conserving a huge broadleaf forest across Warwickshire and Worcestershire, protected and secured for generations to come. Ros will cover the background to the charity and its founder Felix Dennis, progress so far and how you can visit, get involved and support.

Tues 18, Wed 19th, Thur 20th June - Refugee Week Documentary Screenings, 2.30pm start each day

For Refugee Week, join us to watch one or more parts of a 2016 documentary film - an intimate account of the extraordinary struggles refugees face across the world, putting a human face on the story of the biggest displacement of people in the continent since World War Two.

Part 1: Tuesday 18th June 2.30pm

Part 2: Wednesday 19th June 2.30pm

Part 3: Thursday 20th June 2.30pm

Each part runs approx 1 hour. Refreshments provided.

DROP IN, NO NEED TO BOOK. Open to ages 16 + only.

Everyone is welcome at the library. It is a warm, safe space where you can sit and spend time reading books or newspapers, using a computer, or joining in with our free events. It’s free for Warwickshire residents to join the library, and once you are a member it’s free to borrow books, and use a library computer. You do not need to be a member to come into the library and read, use the public wifi on your own device or to attend library events.

The library is open for general use 9am—5pm Mon—Fri, 10am—3pm Sat
