Event description

Description

CDA Herts and Hertfordshire County Council are excited to bring you news of Hertfordshire's first rural conference for 15 years.

To be held at Church Farm, Ardeley, the Conference will consider issues about living and working in rural Hertfordshire, highlight ways in which these issues are being addressed and what more can be done.

There will be presentations, workshops, a tour of Church Farm and the launch of the new Hertfordshire Rural Issues Network.

We are delighted to be welcoming The Right Revd Dr Alan Smith, Lord Bishop of St Albans, lead spokesman on rural affairs issues for the bishops in the House of Lords and President of the Rural Coalition, as our keynote speaker.

We are also very pleased to be having contributions from Herts & Middlesex CLA, Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trust, Hertfordshire’s Deputy Police & Crime Commissioner, The Plunkett Foundation, The Rural Services Network and more.

Places are limited so please book early.

We look forward to seeing you at this key event for Hertfordshire's rural communities and businesses.
