About this event

Community • Heritage

Join us for an uplifting evening of beauty, memory, and meaning in the heart of Blackburn Cathedral’s Crypt. Living Tradition is a unique bilingual charity performance celebrating Ukraine’s living heritage through traditional clothing, music, and dance.

With bandura player Mariia Petrovska, DJ Treexy, and the dance ensemble Radist Liverpool, the show brings rituals, costumes, and symbolism to life — blending heritage with modern sound in a powerful tribute to resilience.

The show is conducted in English, with select expressions and songs in Ukrainian to evoke the emotional and poetic heart of the culture.

All proceeds support Ukrainian cultural preservation and local charities.

Enjoy Ukrainian refreshments, folk art displays, and warm conversation before the show.
