About this Event

This year's Greater Manchester Living Wage Week event will be held in wonderful Salford, to announce the new Living Wage rate for 2019/20 and celebrate the city achieving its ‘Making Salford a Living Wage City’ status.

You’ll also hear from local political, business and civil society leaders including Paul Dennett, Mayor of Salford and Olivia Balson, Global Centre Director at Freshfields LLP. There’ll also be testimony from local employees who have benefited from the Living Wage, and a special performance from renowned local poet Tony Walsh.

Come along to celebrate your ongoing commitment to fair pay, network with peers, and discover how you can get involved in making your local area a Living Wage Place!

The event will take place at the new state-of-the-art Salford offices of our kind hosts, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP, in partnership with Salford Social Value Alliance. Breakfast refreshments will be provided.
