MS SOCIETY - The MS Society in partnership with the North Herts branch & NHS Trust are running a number of wellbeing events for newly diagnosed people (last 5 years). These events will give you the knowledge, information and support to continue to Live Well.
Friends & Family are welcome too.
The first event on the 28th April titled: MS Specialist nurse will give you the opportunity to obtain detailed information and advice from a specialist nurse based in Hertfordshire annd will include - What is MS? & Research into MS.

Fatigue & Diet -
Our interactive session aims to guide people with MS to identify key dietary changes within their lifestyle and build their confidence to make changes that will make a real difference to their lives. These can include reducing fatigue or constipation managing weight changes or making sense of information about special diets and taking supplements amongst others.
12th May 2017 - The importance of exercise and types - Specialist MS Physiopherapist -
People attending the” Keep Moving “session will learn about different types of exercise, the general benefits of exercise and specific benefits for people who have MS . There will be an opportunity to consider ways to incorporate more exercise into your weekly routine and a chance to ask questions.
19th May 2017 - Good emotional wellbeing

Working or not working the financial assistance, what benefits you could entitled too, plus explaining PIP.
