Event description

Description

In association with Inner Pod mental health podcast.

What can we do to make sure that we thrive however we choose to work?

The focus for this month’s event is wellness, join our host Zoe E Breen for an afternoon of top talks from our fabulous speakers:

Karen Millington, BBC digital producer and co-chair of BBC Pride (LGBT network) talks about her experience of becoming a workplace mental health first-aider.

Gem Hill of Inner Pod, interviews Catherine North, author of the recently published novel ‘The Beauty of Broken Things’. Catherine will talk about the themes of mental health and work in her writing and also how she found support for her writing online.

Are you a Jack of All Trades, or a Unicorn? Sarah Thew, healthtech UX Specialist talks about finding work and life balance, and how a mix of skills and disciplines has allowed her to adapt her working life to meet her own needs and those of her young family.

There will be plenty of time to chat and mingle, plus the chance to ask questions in the panel session at the end.

Come, speak, listen, share, drink tea and eat cake.

All welcome.
