In turbulent uncertain times how can we resource ourselves?
How can we best act for the changes we wish to see in the world around us?
And how can we avoid getting overwhelmed by the scale of the challenges that face us?
2016 has been a year when the veneer of ‘Business as Usual’ has begun to crack. Although many of us have been expecting this for some time, shocks such as Brexit and Trump’s triumph as well as the ongoing and seemingly insurmountable challenges of the refugee crisis and climate change, are not easy to face or know how to respond to.
Alongside these seismic shocks many of us are feeling called to more deeply offer our gifts and play our part in bringing about the changes we are longing to see in the world around us – a flourishing of peace, balance, human creativity, love and joy.
However, in these uncertain turbulent times it can be difficult to ground and resource ourselves. We can feel isolated and lost or overwhelmed by fear, despair and simply not knowing what to do.
Debbie Warrener believes that we are being called into a new way of being and leading. One in which we stand for and live from our grounded wise truth of interconnection. This is what she calls our ‘WiLD and True’ – living as ‘Inner Leaders’ for ‘Outer Change’.
Developing this way of being is both a deeply personal journey and a collective process of breathing life together into the 'new and ancient' stories that intuitively make more sense to many us than the ‘story of separation’ that we have been conditioned into. By coming together to resource ourselves we can strengthen and inspire each other and our own practices for resilience and perspective.
This retreat led by Debbie is a space to reflect upon the growing turbulence of our times and to strengthen your ability to play your part to live from your ‘WiLD and True’ in 2017. It will include deep sharing, embodied and intuitive exercises, creative expression as well as reflective time in nature. It draws on inspiration and material from Charles Eisenstein, Inner Transition, Joanna Macy, Non-Violent Communication and leadership development, amongst others.
What you will get from being on this retreat:
Insights into the underlying causes of the mess we are currently in
Tools, resources and inspiration to develop your ‘Inner Leadership for Outer Change’
A personal plan for staying grounded, resilient and resourced in 2017 – regardless of what unfolds
Space to reflect and consider how you are being called to contribute in 2017
Deep connection with yourself, with like-minded community and with the natural world
