Listen, Learn and Contribute to the efforts of local citizens - Having their say on how together we can achieve a Fairer and more Inclusive Calderdale.
Join us at a free, public and on-line event on Monday 11th April from 2.00 - 4.30pm. We welcome your questions, ideas and suggestions.
Parasol is a Local Community Organising Hub in Calderdale which provides Advocacy, Research and Community organising as a means to inspire social justice.
We are presenting findings of our Community research into the experiences of local people in Calderdale on themes of Disability and Health
Our Community Researchers have listened to Hardly Heard voices from a broad range of diverse backgrounds - especially from disabled people or those with severe health needs.
We will be showcasing the efforts of local community groups and partners who have been providing practical support to local people. Enabling them to express themselves in words, drama, music and film.
