Event description

Description

We will spend the afternoon exploring peace through poetry, prose and other creative forms of expression. Guests are welcome to bring along something to share on the topic of peace, if they wish. This may be something you have written yourself or something that 'speaks to you'. You are also welcome to simply come along to listen.

The event will include refreshments and cakes.

Booking is essential as there are limited spaces.

The tickets are free, though donations are gratefully received.

This event is part of the Horsham District Year of Culture 2019 - https://www.hdculture2019.co.uk/.

Our exhibition in our barn will also be open to visitors. This exhibition contains information about William Penn and the Blue Idol’s history.

Accessibility Information

We have three designated disabled bays in the car park. There is a cement path from the car park to the meeting house, hovel barn and toilet block. The meeting house and hovel barn both have a small ‘threshold lip’. The garden can get quite sodden in wet weather so may not be suitable for wheelchairs in these conditions. We do not currently have a hearing loop; this is something we are researching.
