Event description
Professor of Agri-Food Studies at the Countryside and Community Research Institute, Damian Maye presents his inaugural lecture.

About this Event

A rural geographer working across three research areas, Damian has worked at the CCRI since 2007. His research interests include alternative and local food networks, projects relating to animal and plant disease management, and debates about food security.

In his lecture he will outline the nature of the food system-related troubles that we are currently living with and the key approaches emerging. Damian will introduce his own work with colleagues at the CCRI which is seeking to reframe how we think about ‘sustainable food futures’ as ethical choices and actions.

More information concerning the event can be found on the CCRI website.
