All of the 4 sessions are free of charge.

Who do I contact if I have some questions about the group?

Please email counselling@tenovuscancercare.org.uk and someone will get back to you within 48 hours.

Do I have to attend the 4 weeks?

Accepted Answer

Yes, as the 4 weeks programme of sessions will cover different aspects of support that will benefit you in your journey.

What do I do if I can no longer attend the group?

Accepted Answer

If you can no longer attend the group sessions you have booked onto please email counselling@tenovuscancercare.org.uk to let us know. We may be able to offer you an alternative date if we have more group dates scheduled.

Question 5

What shall I do if I am having issues getting onto Teams or logging into the group on the day?

Please email counselling@tenovuscancercare.org.uk or call 0808 808 1010 and a member of the team will assist you.

Question 6

What happens if my internet goes during a session?

Accepted Answer

Please call 0808 808 1010 to let us know that you are ok, if we don’t hear from you we will contact you.

What if I know someone who would benefit from these sessions?

Accepted Answer

Please give them the Eventbrite link so that they can find out more information and book on if they would like to.

Do I have to keep my camera on during the group session?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we need everyone to fully engage in the group setting.

Question 9

What happens if I become upset during the session?

Accepted Answer

It is ok to get upset, if you need to take time out of the group please let us know.

Question 10

Will everything I say in the group stay in the group?

Accepted Answer

Yes the sessions are confidential and none of your personal details will be shared outside of the group.

Question 11

Can I tell other people about these sessions and what we discuss in them?

Accepted Answer

Yes you can talk about what you discuss in the sessions but not what other people do or any personal details about other participants.

How will my details be stored?
