Livity Presents: Make Money From Your Art
Wed 19 October 2016, 18:30 – 20:30 BST
Are you trying to get into a creative role but don’t know how? Do you want to begin working as a freelance artist commercially?
Join us for the evening to hear from artists and creatives working in the field and gain some insight into how they got from their first job to where they are today, and ask those key questions that will inform your next steps.
You will be hearing from…
One of the UK’s most respected contemporary graphic artists, Josh Stika is best known for his witty slogans, intense colour combos and striking use of typography. STIKA’s foray into art began with him ‘writing’ on the streets of London, inspired by some of the UK’s most prolific graffiti artists. His unusual combination of fine art and street training continues to distinguish STIKA’s work as globally recognised, with a portfolio including brands such as adidas, Nike, Vauxhall, Google, Faberge, Moet, Reebok, Soho House Group and many more.
Brad Hobbs is a travelling writer and photojournalist. Brad, age 26, has also had his work shown in The New York Observer, The New York Times, Time Out, The Guardian and The British Journal of photography and is also an ambassador for Fuji film cameras.
Albert is a creative and practicing artist, producing work under the alias of Agwa. He started his creative career by founding The Bean Creative, which is an online platform for artists to showcase their work and products. From there he moved into somewhereto_’s, focusing on digital marketing. His collated experience has enabled him to move into his current role in the Creative team at Vungle.
