The Music Industry, Beat Making and Lyricism Workshop will provide you with industry advice, helping you to hone in your performance skills.
Join us if you have questions about how to make money from your music, you want to perfect your craft, or if you need that inspiration or expert knowledge on how to get further in your career.
Structure of the session
The session will be split into two halves, a talk and Q&A, and a beat making, sound engineer and lyricism workshop, giving you practical advice and experience. The outcome of the workshop is that you will get something recorded by professional studio engineers, or learn the technical side of making music.
The talk and Q&A will be hosted by Reload Sessions, a music website and YouTube Platform, that highlight some of the best emerging and international artists in the UK. At Reload Sessions, they have put together a bunch of some of the best advice that we've heard over the years and will be sharing it at the event.
The workshop will be run by Raw Material, who are a music charity based in Brixton that provide access and opportunities for young people in music and media. With some of the best studio equipment and facilities to help perfect your skills, they will be hosting the lyricism and recording sessions on the day.
Everyone that attends this workshop will be given work experience, mentoring or ongoing careers advice from Livity and Raw Material, and will have the chance to perform at an exciting event in November.
