Wilderness Challenge Walk 15 miles and Steam Train Ride back -
Sunday MAY 5th

And YES - there is a FREE Wrexham Lager at the finish.

Join Mike, our trained Mountain Leader, NORTH EAST WALES Tourism Ambassador and AONB Guide.

This walk is 15 miles DO NOT take on this walk lightly, this is a HARD WALK!

Sign-in 8.00am at Cottage Tea Room & Bistro​, Castle Street where you can enjoy a tea, coffee and snacks before the off.
Start at 8.30am - This walk starts with a steepish climb, three stiles in quick succession then a long gradual climb out of the valley however, there is only one other noticeable climb other on the route.
We take-in some of most important and sensitive upland, moorland wilderness in North Wales offering wide reaching views of the
Llantysilio and Berwyn Mountains, River Dee Valley, Clwydian Range and Snowdonia.
Our trek takes us 15 miles to Corwen and the newly extended Llangollen Steam Railway Station to catch the 15.50 Steam Train back to Llangollen. (train ticket included in the price)
You'll have a 55 minute nostalgic ride, you can just sit-back and watch the beautiful Dee Valley and river go by.
We aim to finish back in Llangollen at 4.50pm where you will collect your:
FREE
WREXHAM LAGER, certificate of achievement and other goodies.
FREE CLIF BAR at the start.
