The exhibition, part of Heritage Open Days, celebrates Grimsby's only motor manufacturer and Rowland Lloyd, the pioneering engineer, entrepreneur and visionary who ran it. A collection of photographs, articles and memorabilia will be accompanied by a documentary film and a display of sports cars, including MGs and Ferraris that were contemporaries of the Lloyd 650 and show the development of sports cars since the 1950's. Food and drinks are available in the Minster Cafe, and ample public parking can be found nearby. The display in the square and the minister exhibition both have wheelchair access. You can also visit the other heritage day celebrations taking place in Grimsby town centre on the same day.
