Event description

Description

Target Audience: Social workers, Early Help staff, external partners (including school staff), front facing staff working with families.

Pre-Requisite Knowledge (required to attend course): You will be asked to complete e learning for all modules (1-4) prior to attending the Train the Trainer course OR have attended face to face training for all modules – if e learning this will be sent direct to your email address once you have booked your attendance on the training.

Training Aims: The Reducing Parental Conflict Programme is funded by the DWP based on EIF research. In the East Midlands we are taking a regional approach, working together to share resources and plan for positive change for children and families.

Co-parenting adults argue and disagree for a number of reasons. When arguments become a frequent part of day to day life for children, when they are exposed to intense arguments, or when arguments are not resolved well, evidence shows that children are at more risk of multiple negative outcomes. This programme is designed to upskill staff that work with families.

Training Objectives:

Training the Trainer (2 days)

Upskilling you to deliver the complete Reducing Parental Conflict training programme to colleagues and partners. Suitable for staff who have completed all 4 modules face to face or via e-learning.
